Woodland United Way partners with several local, nonprofit agencies to improve people's lives. Each year our partner agencies go through a rigorous certification process which verifies that they are fiscally strong and financially stable.
Through contributions to The Community Fund, Woodland United Way helps people in need in our community and works to prevent problems from occurring in the first place.
The Community Fund is the best way that we, as a community, can address the issues that affect us all. Your contributions are invested in three Focus Areas identified as key to a healthy community.
- Education - Helping children and youth achieve their potential
- Income - Promoting financial stability and independence
- Health - Improving people's lives
Our partner agencies submit grant proposals to receive funds from The Community Fund. Volunteers review these proposals and work hard to ensure that only programs that demonstrate a measurable impact on people's lives are trusted with United Way dollars — making our community stronger, safer and healthier.
Together, we can make a difference and create real, lasting change that matters to you and to our community.
